PHOTO: Aisha Buhari Visits Tinubu In Lagos

Hajia Aisha Buhari on Saturday, November 21, 2015, paid Asiwaju Bola Tinubu a courtesy visit in his residence at Bourdillon in Ikoyi area of Lagos state.
According to Cable.ng, Mrs Buhari was in Lagos to commiserate with the former governor over the demise of Haliru Dantoro, the late Emir of Borgu kingdom in Niger state.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) leader’s spokesman, Sunday Dare, apprised that the Tinubu hailed President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, who was accompanied by the wives of different governors, “on her Style and commitment to Nigeria.”

Tinubu’s proximity to the tardy monarch is believed to have been responsible for the famous traditional designation, ‘Jagaban Borgu’ in 2006.

The tardy monarch had verbalized: “It was in the days of the ill-fated third republic, in the fateful year of 1992 that my path first crossed that of His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“We were both elected into the senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he as an SDP Senator and I on the platform of the NRC.

“Though from opposing sides of the political divide, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and I, gradually discovered that our positions on issues of burning national paramountcy increasingly propelled both of us and few other like-minded patriots in the same political direction… He is a die-hard workaholic.”

Tinubu, while eulogising the tardy monarch, verbalized: “He was a very proximate friend and compatriot, and his death is a very personal loss to me. Concretely, it was very painful when I visually perceived him on Wednesday; he was looking radiant and yare to come back home.”

Just recently, Mrs Buhari assured Nigerians that they were in safe hands with her husband, but urged him to ascertain he pays the monthly N5,000 to the unemployed Nigerians as promised prior to the 2015 presidential election.
